1.6 Customer Information – information requested from the Customer to process and fulfil an order.

1.7 Order Number – a unique reference number provided to the Customer upon completion of their order, which should be used for all inquiries related to that order.

1.8 Wangara Rims and Suspension – Wangara Rims and Suspension Pty Ltd and its operations in Australia, hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our.”

1.9 Products – refers to rims, wheels, tyres, suspension components, and any other automotive parts or services offered by Wangara Rims and Suspension via the Website or any other medium. Similar terms such as “goods” or “items” also refer to Products. Words used in singular may also apply to plural and vice versa.

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all contracts made between the Customer and Wangara Rims and Suspension when ordering Products or services. By ordering from the Website or through any other medium, you accept and agree to these Terms.

3. ORDERS AND CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY

3.1 All orders placed with Wangara Rims and Suspension will be processed immediately, provided the order is placed on a Business Day.

3.2 By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they:

  • Are a resident of Australia;
  • Are legally authorised to make purchases using the selected payment method;
  • Are ordering Products to be delivered and/or fitted within Australia; and
  • Are at least 18 years of age.

3.3 If any of the above criteria are not met, the Customer should not place an order.

3.4 We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to refuse, reject, or cancel any order placed with us, including but not limited to circumstances involving suspected fraud, unavailable stock, pricing errors, or violation of these Terms.

4. PRICING

4.1 All prices displayed on the Website include GST and any other applicable taxes at the current rate shown.

4.2 Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

4.3 Delivery charges may apply and will be clearly displayed during the checkout process unless otherwise stated.

4.4 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or update information without prior notice. If an incorrect price has been displayed for a Product you have already ordered, we will notify you of the correct price and await your approval before processing the order.

4.5 Special promotions, discounts, or offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

5. PAYMENT

6. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES

Our Products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”). For major failures with Products or services, you are entitled to:

  • Cancel your contract with us; and
  • Receive a refund or replacement.

You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a failure in the Products or services.

6.2 Manufacturer’s Warranty

All Products sold by Wangara Rims and Suspension are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and Product type.

6.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper installation;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, or off-road use (unless Products are specifically designed for such use);
  • Products that have been modified or altered;
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow manufacturer recommendations; or
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect Product functionality.

6.4 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with:

  • Your order number and proof of purchase;
  • A detailed description of the issue;
  • Photographic evidence of the defect or damage; and
  • Any other information reasonably requested by us.

We will assess warranty claims in accordance with the ACL and the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.

7. LIABILITY

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Without excluding, restricting, or modifying your rights under the ACL:

  • You acknowledge that the Website is provided “as is,” and we do not make any warranty or representation as to its suitability for any particular purpose;

  • We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from or connected to these Terms, including loss of revenue, loss of profits, failure to realise expected profits or savings, loss or corruption of data, or any other commercial or economic loss, unless such loss arises from our negligence or willful misconduct.

 

7.2 Contributory Negligence

Our liability to you is reduced to the extent that you cause or contribute to any loss or damage, whether our liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, or otherwise.

 

7.3 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant Products or services.

8. DELIVERY

8.1 Delivery Locations

Products purchased from Wangara Rims and Suspension can be delivered to:

  • Your residential or business address;
  • A nominated fitting partner or service centre (if available); or
  • Another address specified by you.

8.2 Delivery Timeframes

Products are typically delivered within 3 to 7 Business Days from dispatch, depending on the delivery location. Delivery times may vary due to:

  • Stock availability;
  • Courier capacity;
  • Remote or regional locations; or
  • Unforeseen circumstances.

We aim to notify you if we anticipate delays, but to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for losses, costs, or expenses arising from late delivery.

8.3 Delivery Costs

Delivery costs are calculated based on:

  • The postcode of the delivery address;
  • The size and weight of the Products; and
  • The selected delivery method.

Delivery costs will be displayed during checkout.

8.4 Metropolitan and Regional Delivery

Metropolitan areas generally qualify for standard delivery rates. Remote and regional areas may incur additional charges.

8.5 Authority to Leave (ATL)

Customers may authorise the courier to leave Products in a secure location at the delivery address. If the courier determines the location is not secure, they may withhold delivery and contact you for further instructions.

Important: If you authorise ATL, we are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to Products after delivery. Once signed for or left as authorised, the Products are your responsibility.

8.6 Tracking Information

Where available, tracking information will be provided via email or SMS. Tracking availability depends on the courier service used.

8.7 Inspection Upon Delivery

We strongly recommend inspecting Products upon delivery before signing for them. If there is visible damage, discrepancies, or missing items, please:

  • Refuse delivery and notify us immediately; or
  • Note the issue on the delivery receipt and contact us within 24 hours.

Failure to inspect Products at the time of delivery may affect your rights to claim for damaged or incorrect items.

9. CANCELLATION POLICY

9.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, a cancellation fee of $50 will apply to cover processing and administrative costs.

9.2 Cancellation of Custom or Special Orders

Custom wheels, rims, suspension components, or special orders cannot be cancelled once production or preparation has commenced. This will be clearly communicated at the time of order.

9.3 Cancellation After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may, however, be eligible for a return subject to the conditions outlined in Section 10.

10. REFUNDS AND RETURNS

10.1 Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of purchase for the following reasons:

  • Change of mind (subject to conditions);
  • Incorrectly ordered Products;
  • Defective or damaged Products.

 

10.2 Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Products must be unused, unmounted, and in their original packaging with all labels intact;

10.3 Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 15% of the total order value may apply to returns for change of mind or incorrectly ordered Products.

  • We agree otherwise in writing.

 

10.5 Refund Process

Upon receiving and inspecting returned Products, we will process a refund within 30 days. The refund amount will be:

  • The original purchase price, minus delivery charges and any applicable restocking fees; and
  • Refunded to the original payment method used for the order.

 

10.6 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom-made or special-order Products;
  • Clearance or final sale items (as marked on the Website);
  • Products that have been fitted, mounted, or used;
  • Products without original packaging or labels.

 

10.7 Associated Costs

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for reimbursing associated costs such as rental vehicles, towing, or labour charges.

11. CLAIMS PROCESS

11.1 Initiating a Claim

For all claims related to defective, damaged, or incorrect Products, please email wangararimsandsuspension@gmail.com with:

  • Your name and order number;
  • A detailed description of the issue;
  • Photographic evidence (where applicable); and
  • Any other relevant information.

11.2 Claim Assessment

We will assess your claim and determine eligibility for remedy under:

  • The Australian Consumer Law;
  • Manufacturer warranties; or
  • Any additional guarantees provided by us.

11.3 Claim Approval

If your claim is approved:

  • We will arrange for a replacement Product or repair (at our discretion);
  • We will reimburse reasonable additional expenses (where applicable and required by law);
  • Payment processing may take up to 10 Business Days.

11.4 Claim Rejection

If your claim is not approved:

  • Delivery or return costs will not be refunded;
  • You will be fully responsible for the costs associated with returning the Products; and
  • We will provide an explanation for the rejection.

11.5 Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for Products until they are received by us. Please ensure Products are securely packaged to avoid damage during return transit.

12. OWNERSHIP RESERVATION

All Products remain the property of Wangara Rims and Suspension until full payment has been received.

13. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND DISCLAIMERS

It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that Products are compatible with their vehicle. We provide fitment guidance and tools on our Website, but we strongly recommend consulting with a professional if you are unsure.

13.4 Image Accuracy

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual Products may vary slightly in appearance, including:

  • Colour or finish;
  • Tread patterns (for tyres); or
  • Minor design elements.

We accept no responsibility for variations between images and actual Products.

13.5 Customer Responsibility

Wangara Rims and Suspension accepts no responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from:

  • Improper installation or fitment of Products;
  • Use of incompatible Products with your vehicle;
  • Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations or safety guidelines.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for delays, failures, or inability to perform our obligations under these Terms if caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, fires, earthquakes);
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest;
  • Strikes, industrial action, or labour disputes;
  • Government actions or regulations;
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies;
  • Failure of suppliers, manufacturers, or courier services; or
  • Technical failures or cyberattacks.

In the event of a Force Majeure event, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected Customers and minimise disruption.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be published on the Website and will take effect immediately upon publication.

Continued use of the Website or placement of orders after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

19. AGE OF TYRES

The majority of tyres we offer are manufactured within 12 to 24 months of your purchase date. However, some sizes and brands may have older manufacturing dates due to batch importation and varying demand.

We will endeavour to notify Customers if tyres are more than 4 years old from the date of manufacture. Tyres older than 4 years will be priced accordingly and may be marked as “Clearance Stock.”

20. CLEARANCE PRODUCTS

20.1 Definition

Clearance Products are discounted items that may include:

  • Discontinued product lines;
  • Overstocked items;
  • Products older than 4 years from manufacture date;
  • Demo or display Products.

 

20.2 Condition Disclaimer

While all Clearance Products are unused and new, some may:

  • Have been used for demonstration purposes;
  • Have minor cosmetic imperfections; or
  • Have been mounted on rims or used for display.

 

20.3 Return Policy

Clearance Products are subject to the same return policy as regular Products, except where explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “No Returns.”

 

20.4 Limited Availability

Clearance Products are available in limited quantities and are subject to availability. Prices may change without notice.

20.5 Warranty

Clearance Products are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

21. FITTING AND INSTALLATION SERVICES

21.1 Fitting Partners

We work with a network of professional fitting partners to provide installation services. Fitting availability depends on location.

21.2 Fitting Guarantee

We guarantee that Products fitted by our approved fitting partners will be installed correctly and safely. If issues arise due to improper installation by our fitting partners, please contact us immediately.

21.3 Third-Party Fitting

If you choose to have Products fitted by a third party not affiliated with Wangara Rims and Suspension:

  • We are not responsible for improper installation, damage, or fitment issues;
  • Manufacturer warranties may be voided;
  • You assume all risk and responsibility.

21.4 Mobile Fitting

Mobile fitting services may be available in select areas. Additional call-out fees may apply and are non-refundable once the appointment is scheduled.

22. WHEEL ALIGNMENT SERVICES

22.1 Standard Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignments are offered as an optional service in conjunction with tyre or suspension purchases. Prices displayed are for standard alignments on standard vehicles.

22.2 Exclusions

Standard wheel alignment does not cover:

  • 4×4, luxury, modified, classic, or racing vehicles;
  • Alignments requiring additional work, such as shims or specialised equipment;
  • Vehicles with damaged or worn suspension components.

 

22.3 Non-Performance

If a standard alignment cannot be performed on your vehicle, we will issue a full refund for the alignment service. We are not obligated to source alternative alignment services.

23. PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL OFFERS

23.1 General Terms

Promotions and special offers are subject to:

  • Availability and stock levels;
  • Specified validity periods;
  • Terms and conditions specific to each promotion.

23.2 Discount Codes

Discount codes must be applied during checkout and are valid only during the specified promotional period. Codes cannot be applied retroactively.

  • Cancel orders;
  • Forfeit promotions, discounts, or additional privileges; and
  • Restrict future purchases to basic services at full retail prices.

25. TRADEMARK ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

All product names, logos, brands, and trademarks displayed on the Website are the property of their respective owners. Wangara Rims and Suspension uses these trademarks solely to identify and describe Products and services.

The use of trademarks does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by the trademark owners unless explicitly stated.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
